The toddler years are filled with incredible growth, curiosity, and independence. At Smart Bear Learning, our teachers embrace this exciting stage by creating a safe, nurturing environment where toddlers are encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through play.
Our play-based curriculum is designed to support each child’s cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical development while allowing them to learn at their own pace. Through hands-on experiences, children build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and strengthen their creativity as they explore the world around them.
Each day is filled with meaningful learning opportunities including sensory exploration, art, music and movement, stories, dramatic play, outdoor adventures, science activities, and early literacy and math experiences. Teachers intentionally plan activities based on children’s interests, helping foster a lifelong love of learning.
Families stay connected throughout the day through the Procare app, where teachers provide real-time updates on feedings, naps, activities, photos, and special moments so you never miss a part of your child's day.
At Smart Bear Learning, we don't believe children should fit into a schedule—we believe our program should fit the needs of each individual while fostering growth through nurturing relationships and play-based learning.
Our educators understand that toddlers are developing independence while still needing reassurance and guidance. By building strong, trusting relationships with each child, teachers provide the support and encouragement toddlers need to gain confidence, practice new skills, and navigate friendships.
Language development is woven throughout the day through conversations, books, songs, finger plays, sign language, and interactive group experiences. Children are encouraged to express themselves, build communication skills, and develop positive social relationships with their peers.
The Procare app provides families with daily updates, photos, meals, naps, activities, and special moments, providing a window into their child’s exciting day.
