At Smart Bear Learning, we believe your infant determines their own schedule. Every infant is unique, and we know that no two infants eat, sleep, or develop exactly alike. Rather than expecting infants to follow a classroom routine, our teachers build trusting relationships with each infant, learning their individual cues, preferences, and needs.
Our educators practice responsive caregiving, allowing each infant to guide when they are ready to eat, sleep, play, or simply enjoy one-on-one comfort and interaction. By following each infant’s natural rhythms, we create a secure environment where infants feel safe, loved, and understood.
Families stay connected throughout the day through the Procare app, where teachers provide real-time updates on feedings, naps, activities, photos, and special moments so you never miss a part of your child's day.
At Smart Bear Learning, we don't believe children should fit into a schedule—we believe our program should fit the needs of each individual while fostering growth through nurturing relationships and play-based learning.
Even our youngest learners participate in a play-based curriculum designed specifically for infants. Through sensory exploration, tummy time, music, stories, sign language, outdoor exploration, art, and hands-on experiences, infants develop cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical skills while learning through meaningful play. Every interaction is an opportunity to build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
One of the most important parts of our infant program is the strong relationship between each teacher and infant. As teachers become familiar with each infant’s unique personality and cues, they are able to provide individualized care that supports healthy development and helps every infant feel secure, confident, and loved each day.
